2007 ERIC HINSKE GAME-USED LOUISVILLE SLUGGER BAT - STEINER COA/HOLO CERTIFIED
Another nice collectible for your consideration. You are looking on one (1) 2007 Eric Hinske Game-Used Louisville Slugger Bat - Steiner COA/Holo Certified Bat. This bat was used by Major League baseball star Eric Hinske during the 2007 MLB season. During this year, Hinske and was the Boston Red Sox won the 2007 World Series. This bat was not used in the Fall Classic, but did help the Red Sox get there. The bat is a Louisville Slugger M9 (125) Eric Hinske Professional Model. The bat shows very heavy use and was cracked in half, but has since been repaired (it came from Steiner this way). A tiny piece is missing but it is from the side opossite of the barrel face so no biggie. The handle is wrapped in tape and "12" is written in black marker on both ends. There is a LOT of pine tar on the bat and it is full of ball, bat cage and cleat marks. Attached to the bat next to his imprinted signature and name is a Steiner Sports serial numbered hologram and a MLB hologram. The bat also comes with a letter from Steiner, with a matching hologram, that notes this is a "Eric Hinske #12 2007 Game Used Bat (Broken in Two)" and that is was "obtained as part of the Dodgers - Steiner Collectibles Program, a direct partnership between the Los Angeles Dodgers Baseball Club and Steiner Sports Memorabilia." The MLB Authentication Hologram #BB 558079. If you look this up online it shows "GAME USED BAT" "TEXAS RANGERS @ BOSTON RED SOX" "July 02, 2007" and "ERIC HINSKE BAT." This game was won by the Red Sox 7-3. Hinske, played 1st base in this game and batted four times, collecting a single in the 3rd inning and hitting a triple in the 5th that scored Manny Ramirez, J. D. Drew and Jason Varitek. The bat comes with a free Bat Tube ($10.00 value). A photo is shown at the bottom of Hinske using a bat identifcal to this one. The markings are a little different on that bat, but check it out....both appear to have excess pine tar. Like 4-5 times the normal. Guess Hinske doesn't remember the "George Brett Pine Tar Incident." See my other products for more Game-Used Bats. All my game-used bats are either PSA/DNA, MLB hologram or Steiner ceritified.
