Another nice collectible for your consideration. You are looking on one(1) 1954 Washington-Lee High School Yearbook with future actor Warren Beatty. This product is for the 1934 Washington-Lee School Yearbook (Arlington, Viriginia), titled "Blue and Gray." Featured in this book is future Academy Award & Golden Globe award-winning actor/director Warren Beatty. Beatty, then going by Warren Beaty, is shown in his Junior Class photo (page 105) and in the football team group photo (page 191). There is no student index so it is possible he is in other locations.

The yearbook is in very good condition. The cover is the old "puffy" kind. Spine is a little loose. There are several student and/or staff signatures in the book. I did not see Beatty's among them. See my other products for more high school yearbooks featuring future sport legends, political stars, celebrities (or pre-celeb's) and notables.

American actor/producer/screenwriter/director Warren Beatty was born Henry Warren Beaty on March 30, 1977 in Richmond, Virginia. By the age of twenty-two, Beatty had appeared in about forty off Broadway productions, before getting a role in William Inge's dram "A Loss of Roses." For his role, Beatty would earn a 1960 Tony Award nomination. After a short time in the military, Beatty returned to acting and made his film debut in the 1961 "Splendor in the Grass."

Beatty has acted or directored in many Hollywood blockbusters, playing Micky One in "Micky one" (19665), Clyde in "Bonnie and Clyde" (1961), Bugsy Siegel in "Bugsy", "Heaven Can Wait" (1978), "Reds" (1981), Dick Tracy in "Dick Tracy" (1990), Sen. Jay Bulworth in Bulworth (1998) and more.

Among Beatty's many honors include: 1961 Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer; 1975 Writers Guild of American Award for Best Original Screenplay; 1978 Golden Globe Award for Best Actor; 1978 Saturn Award for Best Actor; 1981 Academy Award for Best Director; 1981 Golden Globe Award for Best Director and many others, including dozens and dozens of nominations.

US shipping is $6.00, Canada $15.00. I only accept Pay Pal for payment. Check out my other listings for more unique collectibles, including other school annuals with notables. Thank you for your interest.
