Profesisonal football quarterback Timothy "Tim" F. Rattay was born March 15, 1977 in Elyria, Ohio. Rattay played college football at Scottsdale Community College where he led the nation’s junior-college quarterbacks in touchdown passes (28) and yardage (3,526) before transferring to Louisana Tech to play with the Bulldogs. In 1998, he broke school records as a senior with 4,943 yards and 46 touchdowns to finish second in NCAA history in yardage. Rattay holds several NCAA records, including the NCAA Division I-A record for average passing yards per game with 386.2, and is only the second player in NCAA history to 12,643 yards of total offense. The San Francisco 49ers selected Tim Rattay in the 7th round of the 2000 NFL Draft. Rattay played with the San Francisco 49ers (2000-2005), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2005-2006), Tennessee Titans (2007) and the Arizona Cardinals (2007).
