2006-07 WILSON BETEMIT GAME-USED RAWLINGS BIG STICK BAT - STEINER COA/HOLO CERTIFIED
Another nice collectible for your consideration. You are looking on one (1) 2006-07 Wilson Betemit Game-Used Rawlings Big Stick Bat - Steiner COA/Holo Certified Bat. This bat was used by Major League baseball switch-hitter Wilson Betemit during the 2006-2007 MLB seasons. The bat is a black Rawlings (Adirondack) Big Stick Wilson Betemit Professional Model. The bat shows very light use with some small ball marks, but it looks pretty nice. It is not cracked (uncracked). There are no number markings on the front or back of the bat. On the knob of the bat is "907B" "471 08." Attached to the bat next to his imprinted signature and name is a Steiner Sports serial numbered hologram. The bat comes with a letter from Steiner, with a matching hologram, that notes this is a "Wilson Betemit Dodgers Game Used Bat" and that is was "obtained as part of the Dodgers - Steiner Collectibles Program, a direct partnership between the Los Angeles Dodgers Baseball Club and Steiner Sports Memorabilia." I believe this bat was used in early 2007 as it was then that LaRoche used this type of bat. In his first Dodgers uniform press photo, he is holding a bat like this and in the first Dodger games he used this style of bat.
Search the internet and you can find a few other Laroche used Big Stick bats. Longtime memoribillia seller Legends of the Falls notes that Steiner has a list price of $300 for the bat and they want $175 for one like this. SportsMemorabilia wants $200.00. None of them come with a Bat Tube ($10.00 value), this one does. See my other products for more Game-Used Bats. All my game-used bats are either PSA/DNA, MLB hologram or Steiner ceritified.
