Nice bold autograph. On the back of the card is wrote "MILT THOMPSON - PHILS." The signature has been certified by PSA/DNA and the card has been slabbed in a tamper-resistant case. Signature is PSA/DNA #81997122, the blank card has been labeled a "CUT" and it has been graded "AUTHENTIC." The Atlanta Braves selected Milt Thompson in the 2nd round of the 1979 MLB Amateur Draft. He made his Major League debut on September 4, 1984 and played for the Atlanta Braves (1984-1985), the Philadelphia Phillies (1986-1988, 1993-1994), the St. Louis Cardinals (1989-1992), the Houston Astros (1994-1995), the Los Angeles Dodgers (1996) and the Colorado Rockies (1996). In 1997, Milt became the minor league outfield/baserunning coordinator in the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and in 1998, he joined the Philadelphia Phillies organization. First as a minor league coach and then a minor league baserunning/outfield coordinator, before joining the Phillies as a first base coach. Thompson changed coaching postions to hitting the next year and since Thompson's tenure as batting coach the Phillies have led the league twice in runs scored.
