This 2.5" by 3.5" blank white card (trading card size) has been hand signed by Darren Daulton in black marker. The last few years Daulton has began to sign his name in a very shortened form. Just a little more then two D's. This is one of his older full signatures. Nice bold autograph. On the back of the card is wrote "DARREN DAULTON - PHILS." The signature has been certified by PSA/DNA and the card has been slabbed in a tamper-resistant case. Signature is PSA/DNA #81997118, the blank card has been labeled a "CUT" and it has been graded "AUTHENTIC." The Philadelphia Phillies selected Darren Daulton in the 25th round of the 1980 MLB Draft. "Dutch" made his MLB debut on September 25, 1983 after an All-Star perforance with the AA Reading Phillies and played in the Major League for the Philadelphia Phillies (1983, 1985-1997) and the Florida Marlins (1997). Daulton played sparingly at first, due much to the presence of all-star catchers Ozzie Virgil and Lance Parrish, but became the Phillies' full time catcher in 1989. Daulton, who led the NL in RBIs in 1992 (109), was a 3-time All-Star selection (1992, 1993 & 1995), a 1992 Silver Slugger Award winner, the 1997 NL Comeback Player of the Year. Retired after helping the Florida Marlins win the 1997 World Series. In 14 seasons, Daulton hit .245 with 137 home runs, 588 RBI and 511 runs scored in 1161 games.
