White was also the recipient of the 2003 Associated Press Player of the Year, the 2003 Davey O'Brien Award, the 2003 Jim Thorpe Courage, the 2003 Sporting News Player of the Year, the 2003 NCAA QB of the Year, the 2003 Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year, the 2004 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award and the 2004 Maxwell Award.
