Thomas attended the University of Michigan, where he played NCAA football with the Wolverine’s, contributing to their 1997 National Championship season and to appearances to both the 1999 and 2001 Citrus Bowl. The Chicago Bears in the second round of the 2001 NFL Amateur Draft selected Thomas. He played with the Chicago Bears 2001-2004, the Dallas Cowboys 2005, the New Orleans Saints 2005 and the Buffalo Bills in 2006 and 2007.
