You are looking on one (1) 2007 Jeff Conine Game-Used Lousivlle Slugger Bat - Steiner COA/Holo Certified Bat. This bat was used by Major League All-Star Jeff Conine during 2007, his final season. The bat is a Louisville Slugger, Jeff Conine Model C353 (M9) 34 Inch, 38 oz. It shows light use with some ball marks and rack marks and is uncracked. On the end of the barrel and on the handle knob is Conine's #19 jersey number. Attached to the bat next to his imprinted signature and name a numbered Steiner Sports Hologram. Included with the bat is a Steiner Letter (or Certificate) of Authenticity with a matching numbered hologram. The letter notes it is a "Jeff Conine Game Used Bat (Cincinnati Reds Bat)" and that is was "obtained as part of the Mets - Steiner Collectibles Program, a direct partnership between the New York Mets Baseball Club and Steiner Sports Memorabilia." Conine was traded by the Reds to the Mets during 2007. It appears he used "Reds" labeled bats for part or all of his time in New York. Conine graduated from UCLA and was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 1987 MLB Amateur Draft. Coninie made his Major League debut on September 16, 1990 and played for the Kansas City Royals (1990, 1992, 1998), the Florida Marlins (1993-1997, 2003-2005), the Baltimore Orioles (1999-2003), the Philadelphia Phillies (2006), the Cincinnati Reds (2007) and the New York Mets (2007). He finished his career signing a one-day contract with the Florida Marlins, retiring as a Marlin. Conine is a two-time All-Star selection (1994 & 1995) and a 1995 MLB All-Star Game MVP. A key member of both the 1997 & 2003 Florida Marlins World Series Championship Teams, Conine is known to some as "Mr. Marlin." He finished his 17-year career with a .285 batting average, 1982 hits, 214 home runs and 1071 RBIs. Since retiring as a player, Conine has appeared as a color commentator on Florida Marlins Fox Sports New telecasts and competed in the 2008 Ironman Triathlon in Kona, Hawaii.
