Thank you buyders for following my postal products. Here is another neat item for your collection album. You are looking on one (1) $10.75 Eagle Express Stamp Souvenir Page. The photograph below shows the Souvenir Page in this product. Looks great overall, see photo. This is one of the harder to find souvenir pages. Priced at $65.00 in the 2007 Brookman Price Guide.

The USPS Souvenir Page Program began in early 1972 with the Family Planning Stamp. The Postal Service noticed the interest in Stamp Poster with First Day Cancels and decided to begin a program of their own. The sheet measures 8 x 10-1/2 inches and contains information on the stamp featured. Canceled with a First Day of Issue Cancel (FDC). They available from the Postal Service by subscription. The series now has over 1000 types, and includes enough variety, including PNC's, to keep a collector busy for years.

The 1985 $10.75 Eagle Express Stamp was first issued on Monday, April 29th, 1985 in San Francisco, California. Sold nationwide Apr. 30th. This United States definitive express mail postage stamp was designed by Young & Rubicam, a New York City advertising agency. This high value gummed adhesive features the bust of a realistic American eagle with a half moon background. The vignette is similar to the 1983 Eagle Express stamp (US Scott #1909), which was also designed by Young & Rubicam. Across the bottom of the stamp is "USA" in white lettering and "$10.75" in red lettering. The later a reference to the stamp's ten-dollar and seventy-five cent face value. Modeled by Peter Cocci. Printed by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) in Washington, DC using the gravure process Andreotti press. Yellow, magenta, cyan (red), black and special red inks where applied to white paper in subject plates of 78, arranged six across and thirteen down. Issued in booklets of three, perforated vertically. The stamp measures 1.92 x 1.71 inches and is known to philatelic collectors as US Scott Catalogue #2122. The $10.75 denomination paid for domestic express packages up to 2 lbs.
