Professional football wide receiver Eric Shannon Moulds was born July 17, 1973 in Lucedale, George County, Mississippi. Moulds played NCAA college football at Mississippi State University where he lettered in three sports, while earning All-American and All-State honors in football. He was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the first round, 24th pick overall, of the 1996 NFL Amateur Draft. With Bills quarterback, Doug Flutie, Moulds became one of professional footballs premier wide receivers. He led the AFC with 1,368 yards in 1998 and made the Pro Bowl the first time. The wide receiver was invited back to the Pro Bowl in 2000, 2001, and 2002. He started with Buffalo until 2005, playing in 154 games and making 675 receptions for 8096 yards and 48 touchdowns. Eric Moulds was traded to the Houston Texans on April 4, 2006, in exchange for their 2006 fifth round draft pick. In the season opener against Philadelphia, Moulds scored on the first Texans drive. Moulds was released by the Texans on February 28, 2007 and signed with the Tennessee Titans on July 25, 2007.
