LenDale attended the University of Southern California where he played NCAA college football with the USC Trojans from 2003 to 2005. White, led the Trojans in rusing in 2003 and 2004 earning All-American honors in 2005. Along Heisman Trophy winning teammates Reggie Bush and Matt Leinard, White and Trojans where the 2003 AP National Champions and the 2004 Consensus National Champions. The Tennessee Titans selected LenDale White in the secound round, 45th pick overall, in the 2006 NFL Draft. In 2008, White was joined in the Titans backfield by rookie Chris Johnson, who was selected with the 24th pick in the draft. They duo eventually became known as "Smash and Dash." White had career highs in TD's in a season (15), longest run (80 yards), TD's in 1 game (3) and rushing yards in a game (149). In April 2010, White was traded to the Seattle Seahawks. The trade reunited White and his former USC Trojans Head Coach Pete Carroll.
