Another nice collectible for your consideration. You are looking on a 1985 Los Alamitos High School Yearbook with several Notables! This product is for the 1985 Los Alamitos High School Yearbook (Los Alamitos, California), titled (inside) "Cottonwood." This high school yearbook has in it future Major League Baseball stars and prospects J. T. Snow, Robb Nen and Mike Kelly. Also in the yearbook is singler/actress Susan Egan.

The yearbook is in great overall condition. The spine and binding is a little lose but still together well. There are several student signatures in the front and the back of the book. I can not confirm any of them belonging to one of the notables. See my other products for more high school yearbooks featuring future sport legends, political stars, celebrities (or pre-celeb's) and notables.

This was the Junior high school year for J. T. Snow, who is listed as both Jack Snow and J. T. Snow. Snow can be found in the yearbook at least six times: taking a shot before a Varsity Boy's Basketball game begins (page 36); in the Varsity Football Team group photo (page 59); in the Varsity Basketball Team group photo (page 76); possibly about to get passed to during a basketball game against another school (page 77); in the Varsity Boy's Baseball Team group photo (page 94); and with a Junior Class photo (page 217).

Former professional baseball first baseman Jack Thomas "J. T." Snow, Jr. was born February 26, 1968 in Long Beach, California. Snow attended the University of Arizona and was selected by the New York Yankees in the 5th round of the 1989 MLB Amateur Draft. Snow played for the New York Yankees (1992), the California Angels (1993-1996), the San Francisco Giants (1997-2005, 2008), and the Boston Red Sox (2006). Show was a six-time consecutive Gold Glove Award winner (1995-2000). Snow was a key member of the San Francisco Giants team that played the New York Mets in the 2000 National League Division Series and the 2002 World Series.

This was the Sophomore high school year for Rob Nen, who is listed as Robby Nen. Nen is mentioned on page 49 about being a class Royalty nominee; shown in the Junior Varsity Baseball Team group photo (page 96); in the stands watching his older brother a senior play football (page 228); and has a Sophomore Class photo (page 237).

Former professional baseball pitcher Robert "Rob" Allen Nen was born November 28, 1969 in San Pedro, California. The Texas Rangers selected Rob Nen in the 1987 MLB Amateur Draft. Nen made his Major League debut on April 10, 1993 and played for the Texas Rangers (1993), the Florida Marlins (1993-1997) and the San Francisco Giants (1998-2002). Nen was a 3-time All-Star selection (1998, 1999 & 2002) and a key member of the Marlins' bullpen that won the 1997 World Series.

This was the Freshman high school year for Mike Kelly, who is listed as Michael Kelly. Kelly is shown in the Varsity Boy's Baseball Team group photo (page 94); in the Junior Varsity Baseball Team group photo (page 96); and has a Freshman Class photo (page 265).

Former professional baseball player Michael Raymond Kelly was born June 2, 1970 in Los Angeles, California. Kellyed was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 1st round of the 1991 MLB Draft. He played for the Atlanta Braves (1994-1995), the Cincinnati Reds (1996-1997), the Tampa Bay Devil Rays during it's 1998 inaugural season, and the Colorado Rockies (1999). Kelly was the 1990 Rotary Smith Award winner (given to the most outstanding college baseball player of the year) and the 1991 Golden Spikes Award winner, which is given annually to the best amateur baseball player.

This was the Freshman high school year for Susan Egan. For a freshmen...she was VERY busy in the schoo. Egan appears in the Ho Ho Grams organization group photo (page 112); in the Advanced Ensemble choir group (page 126); in the Drama Club group (page 128); has a Freshman Class photo (page 259); at a dance with two girl classmates (page 260) and on the Girls' Freshman Football team (page 276).

Actress/singer Susan Egan was born February 18, 1970 in Seal Beach, California. Egan is best known for her work on the Broadway stage. In 1992, Egan played "Belle" on the orginal Broadway cast of Beauty and the Beast. Egan was nominted for Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award.
