Professional football player Bethel Johnson was born February 11, 1979, in Corsicana, Texas. Johnson attended Texas A&M University where he set school career records for receptions with 117 and receiving yards with 1740. Johnson was selected by the New England Patriots in the 2nd round, 45th pick overall, in the 2003 NFL Amateur Draft. He played with the New England Patriots from 2003 to 2005 and the Minnesota Vikings in 2006. With the Patriots, Johnson served primarily as a speed specialist known for several long-range diving catches. With the Patriots he was a 2004 (XXXVIII) & 2005 (XXIX) Super Bowl Champion.
