Throughout this time, he recorded 100-yards receiving on 12 occasions, nearly half the number of games he played in (26). His career total of 30 scores surpassed the previous Southern California record and nearly eclipsed the Pac-10 mark of 32 set by Stanford’s Ken Margerum in 1977-1980. Impressively, Williams averaged a touchdown every 6.1 times he touched the ball. Sat out the 2004 NCAA season after attempting to enter the 2004 NFL Draft. Williams spent the year away from football training with former NFL player Cris Carter. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the 1st round (10th overall) in the 2005 NFL Draft. Williams recorded his 1st NFL touchdown in his NFL debut vs. the Green Bay Packers on September 11, 2005, and finished his rookie season with 29 receptions for 350 yards.Be sure to add me to your favorites list!FREE US shipping.
